Tottenham Hotspur has completed a move for Portuguese midfielder João Palhinha from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham, meanwhile, has agreed with the Bavarian club that Palhinha will become a 'Spurs' player on loan for the season with an option to make it permanent set at 30 million euros.
Romano added that Tottenham will pay his salary, and Palhinah is expected to fly to London in the next few hours for medical examinations as part of finalising the move.
He will go back to the Premier League with West Ham, having previously enjoyed success at Fulham.
